🍔 Instructions:

  1. Make the quick slaw:
    In a bowl, mix cabbage, carrot, vegan mayo, apple cider vinegar, maple syrup, salt & pepper. Stir until creamy and tangy. Chill while you grill.

  2. Prep the grill:
    Heat your grill (or grill pan) to medium-high. Lightly oil the patties so they don’t stick.

  3. Grill the patties:
    Place Beyond or Impossible patties on the grill. Cook about 4–5 minutes per side, brushing with barbecue sauce as they cook.
    If using vegan cheese, add it in the last minute and cover briefly to melt.

  4. Toast the buns:
    Place buns cut-side down on the grill for 1–2 minutes until lightly toasted.

  5. Assemble:
    On the bottom bun, layer lettuce, the hot grilled patty, a spoonful of tangy slaw, sliced tomato, and pickles or grilled onions. Top with more barbecue sauce if desired.

  6. Serve immediately:
