Heart-Shaped Vegan Bruschetta

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 baguette (or sourdough bread)
  • 2 cups cherry tomatoes, diced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp balsamic glaze (or balsamic vinegar)
  • ¼ cup fresh basil, chopped
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Vegan butter (optional, for toasting)

COOKING INSTRUCTIONS

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Cut baguette into heart shapes and brush with olive oil.
  • Toast for 8–10 mins until golden.
  • Mix tomatoes, garlic, basil, balsamic glaze, olive oil, salt & pepper. Let sit 10 mins.
  • Spoon topping onto toasted hearts. Drizzle extra balsamic glaze.
  • Garnish with basil & serve!
